Samarpanaram was inaugurated on December 7th in the year of the Lord 1997. Etymologically the word ‘Samarpanaram’ simply means ‘Garden of Offering’. Samarpanaram, housing mainly students of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales in India, is situated 25 km outside of Bangalore, in Chandapura.
